PRE & POST CARE

PRE-TREATMENT

  • Inform us of any medical changes or if there’s any chance you could be pregnant
  • Shave on the day of your appointment ensuring all treatment areas are hair-free
  • Wear loose clothing for comfort after your appointment and to prevent irritation
  • Do not use any products on the treatment areas on the day of your appointment, this includes deodorant, moisturiser perfume or any skincare products etc
  • Self-tan must be removed and avoided 10 days before treatment
  • Avoid oil-based products 24 hours before treatment
  • If you are having laser treatment on your face, do not wear any makeup or skincare products to your appointment
  • Avoid sun beds and sun exposure 10 days before treatment
  • Avoid photosensitive medication 1 week before treatment
  • Stop using Roaccutane 6 months before treatment
  • Do not wax the treatment area for 30 days before treatment

POST-TREATMENT

  • Apply aloe vera gel to the treated areas for at least 48 hours after treatment
  • Avoid deodorant, makeup and any other products in the treatment area for the rest of the day, SPF 50 and aloe vera gel can be used
  • Avoid sun exposure and sun beds for at least 10 days after treatment
  • Avoid self-tan for 48 hours after treatment
  • Do not exercise for 24 hours after treatment
  • Avoid saunas, steam rooms and hot baths for 48 hours
  • Do not pick or scratch the areas that have been treated
  • Use SPF50 on treatment areas if exposed to UV rays
  • Do not use any other method of hair removal between sessions (epilating, waxing, plucking, threading etc) SHAVE ONLY
  • Start exfoliating 10 days after your treatment 2-3 times a week to encourage the shedding process

Failure to adhere to these guidelines may affect the effectiveness of your treatment or will result in being turned away from your appointment. We will not be held responsible for any adverse effects if the pre and post-care advice is not followed.
